Western Kentucky University offers more than 150 programs of study. WKU students enjoy one of the highest rates of success among Kentucky college graduates in gaining admission to medical, dental, veterinary, pharmacy and medical technical schools. The Department of Agriculture graduates had the highest rate of acceptance into veterinary schools of any Kentucky university in the last 15 years. Western's Dental Hygiene program has had a 100 percent pass rate on the National Licensing Examination.
Admission Requirements
- 2.5 GPA (Grade Point Average) on a 4.0 scale for application to Bachelor (undergraduate) program
- 2.5 GPA (Grade Point Average) on a 4.0 scale for application to Masters (graduate) program.
- 2.75 GPA (Grade Point Average) on a 4.0 scale for application to Masters of Business Administration program.
- 3.00 GPA (Grade Point Average) on a 4.0 scale for application to Masters of Mathematics program.
- Admission into degree program with NO TOEFL ever needed. Successful completion of ESLI satisfies the university TOEFL requirement.
- GMAT or GRE exams for Masters level are postponed until final term of ESLI.
- NO work experience required.
