Former ESLI student and WKU graduate Jamie Chen has been making the most of her time lately! Jamie lives in Taipei, Taiwan now and works as a marketing executive with a trades manufacturer of garment accessories. She’s always been an active person who enjoys hiking, playing basketball, and learning new things.

Recently Jamie and 4 friends, including another former WKU student Ming-Ching Shen, were inspired by the 2015 movie Everest, about a group of mountaineers attempting to climb Mt. Everest. Mt. Everest is of the tallest mountain in the world, well-known for the difficulty in reaching its summit, and is the dream of every climber. Unfortunately, the climb to the top takes 2 months, so the group of friends traveled through Nepal and up the mountain to reach Everest Base Camp.
