For students and parents across the globe the idea of studying in the United States and Canada seems like a distantdream. There are so many obstacles to overcome including the daunting task of selecting the right program and university, in a sea of such terrific options. Costs of study can seem exorbitant, frightening no less given the fluctuations in global currencies and the impact of unforeseen political and cultural events. For many, learning the complicated acronyms of the proficiency exams – TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, GMAT, GRE –induce a sense of dread whenever and wherever they’re encountered. University applications can seem overwhelming and the visa process itself makes even the most confident students‘shake in their boots’. The learning curve is long and too many people feel inadequately prepared.

I have the best job in the world. I’m the person who gets to sift through these complicated topics with you, meeting you in your home city, to sort through the confusion and ease your fears. Simplifying all this is a priorityfor a recruiter!I’m there to listen to you and present you with the right options, to help you narrow those options down until we identify the right university with the right program, at the right cost, for you!

ESLI always aims to make things easier for international students, starting with our application process. You’ll never need an SAT, IELTS, or TOEFL if you choose our pathway program. And we’ve worked hard over the years to ensure that you have the most affordable education at the best university possible.ESLI recruiters are crisscrossing the globe, looking for you, the dreamers, explorers, adventurers; those of you who want to make a difference in the world and in your own personal lives. I hope you’ll come find us and talk to us!

My travels have taken me all over world but most recently to Central Asia and the Caucuses, Europe, the Middle East, and all the way to East Asia. Visiting the beautiful ‘homeland’ of our potential students is a great privilege for me. I get to visit unbelievable cities, learn about your culture, taste your incredible food, and experience your –always –-generous hospitality. As I’m having these great recruiting experiences, I often think about what wonderful experiences you might have one day in my country, the United States. And when I’m sitting with you I always think about where you could end up one day if you follow your dreams. Keep sharing your dreams with us. We’re listening, We’re thinking. And we’re trying to match you with the perfect campus.

I spend my time visiting you in your schools, talking to your teachers and advisors, working with local agents to ensure you’re receiving the best information and in-country support possible, and relaying information back to my organization to ensure your needs are looked after long after you choose to study with us.

One of the things I love about this type of work is the connection I’m able to form with each of you in those brief moments when we’re sitting at a table at a local fair, discussing your goals, your strengths, weaknesses, and working together to create a plan for you. Sometimes those discussions take place in the minutes after a big presentation where you were held captive for a while with photos of universities overseas. I want to make sure you can see yourself there before you apply! Sometimes we meet in consultations in offices, or over cups of tea, or a nearby Starbucks in a busy city, and sometimes I get to meet your parents, little brothers and sisters, too.

As a recruiter for ESLI and for our partner universities it’s important to me that your needs are met. For all of us as recruiters, that’s our main objective. I feel honored when your parents ask me tough questions and expect honest answers! My aim is to ensure that you’re adequately prepared and that you and your family are happy with your choice to study with ESLI at one of our amazing seven university campus locations in the United States and Canada. I’m privileged to be the first person from ESLI that you get tomeet!

Good luck to you in pursuing your dreams of a North American degree and everything that might mean for you and your family!
